I bought this to replace a puffy coat with something more substantial, and that it is. It also breathes better. My biggest surprise was how warm it is. This is a winter coat. The sizing seems pretty dead on. I'm 6'1", 180 lbs., and a large fits me. My biggest complaint is the lack of a bottom drawstring, which I remedied by sewing one in (YouTube to the rescue again). Now it's perfect. I really appreciate high quality products for a reasonable price made in North America.

First off I love this jacket. I have never not been warm/comfortable in this jacket. Dirt doesnt stick to the wool. I wear it to I work on cars, do farm chores, and go out and do something nice...the only thing that I dont like are the sleeves. I wish they were lined with something not so grabby so my shirt or sweater sleeves won't catch on the liner, oh and the hood, I wish it was a little deeper, maybe an inside breast pocket... if they made those changes I would buy the updated one tonight. Sometimes when i dont want to fight with the lining in my sleeves I will wear jackets i dont like as much that I can put on in a hurry. That being said..I'll keep this jacket for life.

Great product. Fits a North American 2XL linebacker-sized guy with a sweater on & still some room to breathe. Wore it for hours in -25 with highwinds, shoveling snow. I layered properly underneath, rolled up my toque n unzipped the hooded merino jacket as needed when I got warm, great jacket. Excellent hood, and nice high riding front zip. Now make one in brown so I can buy another one! Keep up the good work. Steve, Ottawa, Canada.
