I'm very pleased with the vest. For starters, the purchase price is far lower than most similar vests from other manufacturers. The vest is attractive although I believe that plain buttons would be more popular than the Big Bill logo buttons because they would present a little dressier appearance. Despite being 75% recycled wool, the vest is not scratchy at all. The nylon content helps make the vest fabric a little tougher. I was rather surprised that the vest was little roomy for my normal size because I have a wide chest and shoulders and a fat belly. I won't hesitate to work or hunt in this vest and it still looks good enough for casual wear.

Saw this brand while looking online and decided to try it out while on sale. Package arrived relatively quick given it was the holidays. I have two initial impressions: 1) It is definitely a hunter green versus, what I thought, looked more like a sage green online. 2) The branding patch on the right pocket is now blue and red lettering on a white patch versus the brown one shown on the product photo. The vest does seem to be made well and feels warm. Great additional layer for winter and I think early spring and late fall. The color is growing on me but that was a shock to be honest. I would buy again and will be looking to try the wool pants and possibly the wool hat.
